Op vrijdag 29 januari worden de Inkthumaniteiten in het Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht gepresenteerd. Als tentoonstelling. En als boekwerk. Door Guido Wevers, Culturele Duizendpoot met hoofdletters. Hij durfde zomaar de tekeningenreeks van 48 Inkthumaniteiten als installatiekunstwerk binnen de muren van zijn theater te halen.
Iedereen die dit leest is van harte uitgenodigd om de presentatie van expositie en boekwerkje mee te maken. Niemand hoeft bang te zijn voor langdradige toespraken, ingewikkelde beschouwingen, uitgebreide uitweidingen of zinloze formaliteiten. Want die zijn er niet. Wel een drankje natuurlijk. Dus wees welkom! Op vrijdag 29 januari, tussen 17 en 18 uur in het Theater aan het Vrijthof in Maastricht. Boven, op de eerste verdieping. Het boekje is dan natuurlijk ook beschikbaar voor de liefhebbers. Vooruit dan maar: met nummering en signatuurtje.
On friday, january 29, at 5 pm, my new series of 48 cartoons called Humanities in Ink will be presented by the Maastricht Theatre on Vrijthof square. Gathered as installation art, but beside this, as an artbook. It will be a bilingual edition (english/dutch) in which each of the 48 pen drawings exactly, and in the same small size as the original ones, will be reproduced. I would like to invite you, and everybody else who is curious about any Humanity in Ink, to attend the presentation. Of course, the brand new book will be available. Where?
