Once there were many of them on the island of Ouessant. Nowadays only three are still standing: these extremely small windmills. They were typical for this small island in the Atlantic ocean, just in front of the Brittany peninsula. I made such an Ouessant windmill in N scale 1/160. The model measures 5 cm, all included, and the only materials used are paper, cardboard and pieces of wood. Two photo are taken in front of the real windmill on Ouessant, the third one shows my thumb watching the model he created with some help of my other fingers :)
